Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Green' Live Plant Potted
Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Green'
Cryptocoryne wendtii green is an undemanding aquarium plant which will grow into a dense carpet plant over time, and does well in shady conditions.
Cryptocoryne is a popular aquarium plant. The genus carries the common and delightful name 'water trumpet' for the shape of the flower or "inflorescence".
There are around 60 known species.
Avoid sudden environmental changes, as crypts can be subject to a peculiar phenomenon known as "crypt melt". The plants shrivel and disappear when transplanted as a shock reaction, but should recover and grow new leaves in acceptable conditions. Crypts ideally should be kept in mature aquaria, as they are sensitive to the variable conditions of new tanks.

Please note: whilst every effort is made to prevent or remove snails and snail eggs, we do not use copper treatments in our systems (because copper is also harmful to shrimp) so cannot absolutely guarantee snail-free. If you are concerned about snails, we recommended that you dip your plants in a snail preventative solution, such as Esha Gastropex, prior to adding to your aquarium. We do not recommend buying treated plants, or administering copper or anti-snail treatments if you have shrimp in your aquarium. Snails are perfectly safe in an aquarium and will not harm your fish.
